MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME) -- Russia will not leave sabotage on the Nord Streams gas pipelines without a response and can take legal and political measures, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said on Thursday commenting on a publication by U.S. journalist Seymour Hersh.
"We will not leave the story without consequences. Political and legal measures may be taken," Grushko said. He added that Russia would pursue participation in the investigation and use all instruments to find the truth.
Hersh said on his blog on the Substack platform on Wednesday that the order to start sabotage against the Nord Streams was given by CIA head William Burns. The U.S. authorities denied the allegations.
